For a seller to use the Second Chance Offer feature for an item, that item must meet certain eligibility requirements. Refer to Making Second Chance Offers for current eligibility requirements.
An application can make a call to GetSellerList, GetBidderList, or GetItem to determine if an ended auction item is eligible to be offered through a Second Chance Offer. A value of true in the ItemArray.Item.SellingStatus.SecondChanceEligible response field of these calls will indicate that the item is eligible for Second Chance Offers. It is highly recommended that this be verified before actually attempting to make a Second Chance Offer.
